Thinking Like a Mountain

Are we becoming the creators of our own demolition? When we are out in the wild are we really there for the good of the planet and others, or are we there to demolish the thing that supports our life? Everything has a balance point and nature is a balance can not to be broken, but has been.

In the article it states "We all strive for safety, prosperity, comfort, living a long life, and dullness.  The deer strives with his supple legs, the cowman with tap and poison, the statesman with his pen, the most of us with machines, votes, and dollars, but it all comes to the same thing: peace in our time." meaning we care for us and us only.

This article was interesting and took a different perspective of the natural world.  If we think like the mountain, we can create a balance that cant be broken. We need to be less self centered to our demands and now be more focused on preserving natures serenity.
